Who we are
This site is operated by Gavin Larnard ("we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use our site, request a strategy session, or use one of our free tools, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you fill out our survey, application, or a tool, we collect the information you give us — your name, and, when you book a call or ask us to email your numbers, your email address and phone number, plus your answers about your age and retirement timeline, how much you have saved, your pre-tax balances, household income, filing status, the accounts you hold, your occupation, and why you're reaching out. We also automatically record how you arrived (referring page and campaign parameters such as UTM tags and click IDs) and basic technical information about your device and browser, including your IP address and a randomly generated identifier we store in your browser so we can recognise return visits. That identifier is not linked to your name unless you send us your details.
Text messages (SMS)
When you provide your phone number and opt in, you agree that we — and people working on our behalf — may call and text you, including with automated technology, about your inquiry, your session, reminders, and related offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not sell your phone number, and we do not share your SMS opt-in or phone number with third parties for their own marketing. The one exception is measurement: when you book a call we send Meta a scrambled (hashed) version of your phone number so we can tell which of our adverts led to the booking. Meta cannot read the number from it, and we never send your SMS opt-in.
Why we collect it
To determine whether we can help you, to contact you about your request and your session, to send reminders and follow-ups, and to measure and improve our advertising. We do not sell your personal information for money. Sharing measurement data with advertising platforms such as Meta (described under “Who we share it with”) may count as a “sale” or “sharing” under some state privacy laws; you can opt out by using the contact details below.
Who we share it with
Service providers who help us operate the business — for example our website host (Vercel), our database (Supabase), our scheduling tool (Cal.com), and our email and text-messaging providers — as well as advertising platforms (such as Meta) for measurement. Our service providers may only use your information to provide services to us; advertising platforms such as Meta handle the measurement data we send them under their own terms, which allow them to use it for their own purposes as well. We do not share your financial details with advertisers. When you book a call, Cal.com receives your booking details along with the random browser identifier described above.
What Meta receives when you visit the site or book a call: your email address, phone number and name in scrambled (hashed) form, so Meta can tell whether an advert led to the booking without us handing over the details themselves; your IP address and browser details; and the random browser identifier described above, also in scrambled form. Your answers about your savings, income and retirement plans are never sent to any advertising platform.
Cookies and tracking
We use our own first-party analytics to measure how the site is used, and the Meta pixel together with Meta's Conversions API (which sends the same measurements from our server) to measure and improve our advertising. Bookings are taken through Cal.com, which sets its own cookies on the booking calendar. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking them does not stop you using the site or booking a call.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to respond to you and for our legitimate business and legal purposes — typically up to [state a period, e.g. 24 months] after your last interaction — unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights and choices
You may ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or opt out of marketing (reply STOP to texts, use the unsubscribe link in emails). Contact us at [contact email] and we'll respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — for example under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). [Attorney to confirm the specific state-law rights and response timelines that apply to your traffic.]
Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above will change when we do.
